President & 8 other members of FIBRE assembled on the evening of 29th October 2016 at ‘The BANYAN’ situated in 6th Main Road, Mogappair West, Chennai – 600037 & donated a Cheque of Rs.10500/- towards the cost of hosting the High Tea for the inmates of mostly women destitute, poverty stricken & mental health issues & to the supporting staff totalling 250 together with full day food arrangement for them on the next day.
‘The BANYAN’ is a social organisation established in 1993 that takes care of the persons (about 185 inmates presently) mentally disturbed & abandoned / disowned from local and even from faraway places of Assam & Bihar. They observe all formalities in the initial intake of such persons & do all sorts of medical / psychiatric counselling, rehabilitation, reunion with family etc,.
